Join us this week as we navigate the magnum opus of the Rogue Valley. The Campers will erupt into the curriculum and learn about the Rogue Valley's turbulent volcanic past and how our 3 mountain chains were formed and how they impact our daily lives.

 The camp will dive into the significance of our local Watershed and how water plays an invaluable resource to all of Earth's citizens and inhabitants.

 

The camp will then sprout its roots via learning about our regions plant-based diversity and how to identify various conifer and deciduous trees, as well as identifying how these resources have built up and reflect the region. 

 

Lastly, the camp will complete the week and timeline by understanding how people have interacted with and coexisted with these natural occurances as obstacles and precious resources.  

 

Outcome: Have students/Campers have a deeper connection and understanding of their region and its history.
