This year's summer camp will invite the children to explore SCIENCE through hands-on science experiments, arts and crafts, gardening, water play, cooking, and more! Serving preschool through lower elementary, ages 3-10.

Our teachers will be hosting 7 weeks of Science Exploration Camp this summer. These amazing teachers have some fun things planned for your kiddos. Including chemistry science experiments, building and using simple machines, exploring the world through our 5 senses, and fun with food science!. 

Attendance of a Montessori summer program means your child will engage with authentic hands-on Montessori materials, activities, and lessons rooted in scientific exploration to develop self-confidence, learn new skills, gain independence, express creativity, and strengthen academic knowledge.

9am-9:30 - Drop-Off, Outside Free Play

9:30-10am - Circle Time Activity

10am-10:20 - Snack

10:20-12pm - Outside Play Time with Teacher Lead Science Activity

12pm-12:45 - Lunch

12:45-1:30 - Quiet Time (rest time with music and stories)

1:30-2:45 - Inside Time with Hands-on Montessori Activities

2:45 - Clean Up to Go Home​

3:00 - Pick-Up

Tuition

Enrollment in our summer program is week by week.

Cost: $225/week per child. 10% sibling discount offered to those who enroll more than one child.​

​

Tuition invoices will be sent out on the Friday before each camp week is to begin. Tuition is due on Monday of each week and is late on Tuesday. A late fee will be applied if payment is made after Monday. If you would prefer to receive a tuition invoice of all weeks you are enrolled, please reach out to us by email or phone. A withdrawal fee will be applied if enrollment is cancelled less than a week in advance.

Enrollment Requirements

We serve children that are between the ages of 3-10 years and fully potty trained. 

If you are not yet attending Butterfly House, required enrollment paperwork will be due before we can accept your child for camp. This paperwork will be emailed to you for completion in June. You can find the child care authoization from HERE

What to Bring

Summer Camp will be held outside for the majority of the day. Please send your child in play clothes. Remember to apply sunscreen before drop-off. Other sun protection is welcome, ie. sunglasses and sun hat. Please send your child with an extra set of clothes or swimsuit should they participate in water play. Please remember to send your child with a healthy lunch, separate snack and full bottle of fresh water every day.
